Physicians Leaders Forum: Innovative Strategies to Address Wellness

Building on the information shared during the Physicians Leaders Forum in June, this virtual session will focus on physician resilience and wellbeing in a post-COVID environment. A panel discussion moderated by Rick Kellerman, MD, KU School of Medicine-Wichita will highlight strategies currently being used in Kansas to address physician and health care worker resilience.

Panelists will include:

  • Scott Coates, MD, Labette Health
  • Janell Goodno, Kiowa District Healthcare
  • Becky Lowry, MD, University of Kansas Health System

In addition to the panel discussion, Kimberly Templeton, MD, will provide an update on action taken at the Kansas Board of Healing Arts to address physician wellness.

The Physician Leaders Forum—cosponsored by the Kansas Medical Society and the Kansas Hospital Association—is a convening of Kansas physician leaders to foster discussion regarding critical issues impacting health and health care in Kansas. Join your peers for this unique event that is designed to enhance the ability of physicians and their organizations to foster employee well-being and joy in the workplace.
