Description
This legislation makes a largely technical change in the Healing Arts Act to clarify that MDs, DOs, and DCs can use their earned academic degree initials (“MD”, for example) without having to obtain a license from the Healing Arts Board, so long as they are not engaged in the practice of the healing arts, or misleading the public or other health care providers as being so engaged.
