Description
Would have required that upon receiving a written request from a patient, a health care provider or insurance carrier must provide the patient an estimate of the cost of the service in a timely manner. The provider could include a disclaimer that the actual cost may differ from the estimate. The requirements would not apply to emergency health care services.
