Description New law to allow a pharmacist, or a pharmacy student or intern under pharmacist supervision to administer influenza vaccine to a person six years of age or older pursuant to a vaccination protocol with a physician. Kansas law currently allows only vaccinations by pharmacists under a physician protocol to those 18 years and older. The original bill would have lowered the age to 12 and older for pharmacists to administer the full schedule of vaccinations. KMS opposed the orginal bill
