The involvement of physicians in the area of legislation is critical at this point in time when we are dealing both nationally and in Kansas with the issue of health care reform.

One of the Kansas Medical Society's focuses is to provide leadership on health care legislation and have a direct impact on medicine and health care regulations. KMS also ensures that state and national policy makers hear from the people most concerned with issues that matter most to patients and the health of Kansans.
