KMS remains in contact with our state's Congressional delegation regarding the currently-stalled health care reform efforts and will continue to closely monitor any movement in the debate. While the election of Senator Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts) has eliminated the Democrats' 60-vote majority in the upper chamber and created uncertainty around the future of the reform effort, it is likely that Congressional leaders will identify within the coming weeks the focus and direction of any renewed efforts to reform the system. We will continue, as we have in the past, to evaluate all health care reform legislation in the context of our Health Care Reform Principles. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
